21st March 2024
Year 2 have been busy over the last 6 weeks in PE learning a new dance based on different music from the 90's. Each Friday, Miss Bartle has been showing us all of the different dance moves and how to put them together to the music.
On Thursday 21st March we were ready to show our dance to others at the Newcastle Schools Dance Festival. We took a walk to St James Metro and for many of us, we had our first trip on a Metro train. We reached the Whitley Bay Playhouse and found out we were second group on, so not much time to get ready!
The class went on stage and everyone of them gave their best performance and made all of us proud. Sadly we couldn't take photos in the theatre, but we will receive the video from the organisers soon. We decided to recreate the dance again in school and took photos and videos to let you see what we looked like and how amazing our dancing was. We hope you enjoy.
